I had a lovely weekend stay in a Classic Double Room, featuring tasteful decor and a cozy ambiance. The staff provided exceptional service, ensuring we felt at home, and the breakfast was a highlight with freshly made bread and local ingredients. the room was a bit smaller than expected, which made it slightly cramped for my liking.

We had an awesome time staying here with friends! We explored the stunning Tarn Hows with its amazing views and visited the award-winning Aquarium of the Lakes. The location was great, just a short drive from Windermere! Rooms were comfy and staff were super friendly. Just be sure to book meals in advance as the local dining options can get busy.

the sun has such friendly and helpful staff, making our stay so enjoyable. everything, from the bar lounge to the room, was kept spotless, which we really appreciated. the complimentary refreshments were top-notch, and the breakfast was outstanding! the young lady who fixed our radiator was a perfect example of their excellent customer care.

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely guesthouse which is just a few steps from the stunning St Michael and All Angels Church and also close to the beautiful Fitzwilliam Gallery, making it easy to explore the area and soak in the local culture.

Had a fantastic time! The breakfast was superb, especially the quality of the full Lakeland. The restaurant delivered an incredible goats cheese salad that I still crave! Would love to return soon.

we had a great stay at the sun. check-in was smooth, and the staff was super friendly. we really enjoyed the fantastic quiz night, and the quirky 'chippy' next door added to the fun. breakfast was a highlight, probably one of the best we've had in a hotel.
